The inventor of the World Wide Web is putting its original source code up for auction

Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the British computer scientist who invented the World Wide Web in 1989, is auctioning off the original source code as an NFT (Non Fungible Token) at Sotheby's. This will be the first digital-born artefact to come to auction at Sotheby’s. The sale will go on from June 23 to June 30, with bidding starting at $1,000.
